I welcome this announcement as far as it goes. Given so many people in North Dorset have no option other than to use heating oil, there needs to be some measure of support for everyone who is being impacted adversely by the massive price inflation seen in fuel. There are lots of constituents, not on benefits, just about making ends meet for whom these high costs are simply unaffordable. I will continue to press the Government for more universal support initiatives in the short term and for smarter sector regulation in the longer term.
